The concept of the project:

In Spain, any client of a private health insurance can go to any private specialist without having to get a previous prescription from the public GP. For this reason, Mapher Digital Health has several services to give its customers the best experience in finding and managing their health.

Hey health!

Business needs:

Currently Mapher is immersed in looking for services that give solutions to its customers. Thus, the project was born with the need to learn how users behave when looking for health services, in order to incorporate what they have learnt into the Maphre Digital Health platforms.

User needs:

Research was carried out with users, health professionals and medical centers to find out the needs and experiences of each participant in the various interactions of the journey.

Hey health!

Solution:

By means of an MVP developed in 5 weeks, a service was created with a new Mapher partner brand in which the user could search for specialists and centers among all the databases of the different insurance companies.

Hey health!

Tactical objective:

To take advantage of the opportunity identified, creating a new environment that responds to a search service where users can connect with health professionals.

-Front stage objective:

Develop an e-health search engine that is simple, efficient, relevant and meaningful to the user.

Approach: UCD (User Centered Design)

-Backstage objective:

Collect the maximum amount of validated customer learning with the least amount of effort.

Approach: Data Driven

By using information from across all insurance databases, such as medical association and third party platforms, we create a comprehensive information mapping to bring together all the information the user needs to find, understand and choose the best specialist.

Hey health!

Final Phase:

After the development of the MVP, a research was conducted based on user-generated data and 10 user surveys. From the final research, data was extracted to implement in Mapher projects and generate new hypotheses for Hey health. The project continued with interactions every three weeks, where hypotheses were validated and those that were accepted by users were produced by Mapher.
